Maine Tidal Energy Permit Granted to Oceana Subsidiary
Oceana's wholly-owned subsidiary, Maine Tidal Energy Company, today received a
preliminary permit from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
to study the feasibility of developing a tidal power project in the
Kennebec River between Chops Point and West Chops Point in Sagadahoc
County, Maine.

PG&E, City of San Francisco
Golden Gate Energy Company, a
subsidiary of Oceana Energy Company, today announced that it has signed
a collaborative agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the City and County of San
Francisco to advance the development of a tidal power project in San
Francisco Bay.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission today announced that two
subsidiaries of Oceana Energy Company have been awarded preliminary
permits to study the feasibility of developing tidal power projects at
