Mr. Power previously served as a senior U.S. Air Force engineering officer, where he was responsible for managing military construction programs amounting to $180 million per year. He successfully managed the Air Force’s pilot Energy Conservation Program that ultimately resulted in cost savings of $6.3 billion. His other activities in environmental development have included advising the Chinese government on environmental issues, spearheading efforts to green the United Nations Headquarters facility in New York City, serving on the Board of the National Council for Clean Indoor Air, and serving as a founder of The Climate Institute in Washington, DC, for 26 years.       <image:title>Team - DR. MICHAEL MACCRACKEN</image:title>
      <image:caption>CHIEF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST Dr. Michael MacCracken serves as the Chief Environmental Scientist for the Oceana Energy Company. He is a leading voice for climate solutions. He has also served as Chief Scientist for Climate Change Programs with the Climate Institute in Washington D.C. since October 2002. At Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), Mike led studies from 1968-93 using computer models to evaluate the climatic effects of CO2 and other climate-warming gases, volcanic eruptions, land-cover change, and smoke and dust in the event of a major nuclear war. His research also included study of the causes of Bay Area air pollution, and he led a multi-DOE lab research program on acid deposition from 1976-79 and advised DOE on its climate change research program from 1978-93. From 1993-97, Mike served on detail from LLNL as the first executive director of the interagency Office of the U.S. Global Change Research Program and from 1997-2001 as executive director of the National Assessment Coordination Office. After the detail ended in September 2002, Mike retired from LLNL and took on his role with the Climate Institute. Since that time, he has also served as president of the International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences (2003-07), as an integration team member for the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment (2002-04), and as an author, review editor, and reviewer in various of the four assessments of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). In addition to his research, he has submitted six legal declarations in support of national level efforts to limit climate change, and his declaration on standing relating to global climate change and impacts on particular regions was cited favorably by Supreme Court Justice Stevens in his April 2007 opinion in Massachusetts et al. versus EPA. Mike’s undergraduate degree is from Princeton University and his Ph.D. in applied science is from the University of California Davis. Mike and his wife Sandy live in Bethesda, MD.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>CHIEF ELECTROMECHANICAL ENGINEER Dr. Davey is a Fellow with the Institue of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and editor for IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. For the last five years, Dr. Davey has been the senior research scientist at the Center for Electromechanics at the University of Texas. His 30 year career spans a rather wide spectrum of topics in electromechanics, field theory analysis, and optimization. Dr. Davey has a doctorate in continuum electromechanics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he specialized in the uses of electric and magnetic field interaction with matter. He was an international Fulbright Scholar in Finland. Dr. Davey has authored over 200 technical papers and has been issued 20 patents in the magnetics field. Among his more recent work is the use of magnetic fields to initiate action potentials, the design and analysis of both electrodynamic (EDS) and electromagnetic (EMS) maglev systems, and the use of sequential quadratic programming and variable metrics in optimization. He has served as a research engineer in the Large Motor and Generator Department at Westinghouse, a faculty member at Texas A&amp;M University and the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an adjunct professor with the University of Houston Physics Department. Dr. Davey is a graduate of Tulane University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, University of Pittsburgh, with an M.S. in Physics, Carnegie Mellon University with an M.S. in Electrical Power Engineering, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER AND VP ENGINEERING With over twenty years of wide-ranging engineering experience, Dr. Hansen coordinates among all engineers working to develop Oceana technology. He has been integral to development of the company's technology, including co-invention of patents, the design and construction of tidal power generation devices, and scale-model testing activities at the U.S. Navy's David Taylor Model Basin. Dr. Hansen is a principal of Ride Centerline, LLC, a roller coaster and amusement ride design consultancy firm. He has been involved in the design of numerous roller coasters and other amusement rides. Prior to forming Ride Centerline, Dr. Hansen served as Chief Engineer for S&amp;S Power, one of the largest and most innovative amusement ride manufacturers in the world. Ride Centerline is currently the design team for the Emergency Egress System for NASA's new Ares launch vehicle. The EES is a 470-foot-tall roller coaster system for evacuating personnel off of the upper launch platform and into a safe bunker location in the event of an emergency. In addition to his work at Ride Centerline, Dr. Hansen is also President of Hansen Engineering Analysis and Design, Inc. of Hyde Park, Utah. This firm specializes in the advanced development and research of various engineering concepts, including continuing earth penetration, wave power generation, automation equipment, construction equipment, forensics, and technical support for patent prosecution of discoveries. Dr. Hansen also previously worked on national security projects at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico, including design work on earth penetration weapons research and other advanced weapon concepts. Due to his service at Sandia, he brings significant government related experience to the company in addition to a track record of working in a major research laboratory on projects of strong national interest. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University.</image:caption>

After beginning his career in Washington, D.C., with two years' experience as an Attorney Advisor to the USAID and then two years' experience as Regional Legal Advisor for USAID, Mr. Tillotson joined the law firm of Arent Fox as an Associate for six years before becoming a partner for sixteen years. In 1992, Mr. Tillotson elected to form a solo legal practice specializing in communications law. He holds a B.A. with Honors in Political Science from the University of Chicago and an LL.B. from Yale Law School.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>DIRECTOR Mr. Cannon is President and CEO of the Fuel Freedom Foundation, which has the goal of ridding America of its addiction to oil and unleashing American innovative spirit to find better, cheaper, and less polluting solutions. Mr. Cannon is a former partner of the Washington, D.C., law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP, where he represented some of the largest energy companies in the United States. From 1987-2001, Mr. Cannon was Chairman and CEO of Geneva Steel, where he assembled $1.3B in capital to transform Geneva into the most modern and environmentally sound steel mill in the nation. His efforts to balance environmentalism and industry were recognized when the Environmental Protection Agency honored Geneva Steel with its Outstanding Achievement Award in 1991 for its commitment to the environment. Prior to heading Geneva, Mr. Cannon was Associate Administrator for Policy and Resource Management at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as Assistant Administrator for Air and Radiation. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Enterprise Institute and was a member of the Olympic Organizing Committee. Mr. Cannon holds a B.A. from Brigham Young University where he also graduated Cum Laude from law school. He was editor of the BYU Law Review.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>PATENT ATTORNEY Susanne Jones, founding and managing member of Jones Robb, PLLC, is experienced in a wide array of patent law, including utility and design patent preparation and prosecution, strategic national and international patent portfolio development and management, post-grant proceedings such as reissue, re-examination, and interference proceedings, and patentability, validity, infringement, and due diligence opinions. She has also been involved in both district court patent litigation and Federal Circuit appeals. Ms. Jones' technical/industry practice areas cover various aspects of biomedical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical engineering, and she has served clients in highly competitive technical areas, including alternative energy, biomedical devices, cosmetic devices, displays, electromagnetics, food sciences, life sciences, optics, packaging, robotics, and business methods. Jones' experience and expertise has most recently focused on providing a range of patent services and developing patent strategies that complement clients' business objectives. In particular, she enjoys developing and managing patent portfolios for the world market, for both start-ups and larger companies. To this end, she also analyzes competitors’ patent portfolios and products to counsel clients regarding enhancement and enforcement of their patent portfolio, contemplated products, potential design-arounds, and acquisition of technology. Prior to founding Jones Robb, PLLC, Ms. Jones was an attorney with Finnegan, one of the world's largest intellectual property law firms, in Washington, DC. While there, she worked with medical device companies to strategically develop and manage national and international patent portfolios and to monitor competitor activity and provide counseling regarding the same. Ms. Jones also worked as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office where she examined patent applications in the areas of HVAC control systems, waste handling systems, emission control systems, and drying systems. Prior to her patent career, she received a National Science Foundation Fellowship and researched evaporative spray cooling under a grant from the Building and Fire Research Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and she worked for the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center in the Explosions Damage Branch of the Energetic Materials Division. Ms. Jones holds a J.D., Order of the Coif, from Georgetown University Law Center, and an M.S., Magna Cum Laude, and B.S., Summa Cum Laude, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland.</image:caption>
